................we got to the farm about 0800 and met the other lads who were mates of the farmers son .The numbers of rats today were unknown so we came along to provide extra dogs should they be needed .No worries really as there were plenty of dogs to cope .The first shed was pulled and the muck turned over for a tally of 168 .A short break and onto the next shed .One of the dogs had a nasty bite across the eye but it stopped bleeding so panic over .Finished with a respectable 369 including a white striped young one .

You must have organic chicken farmers in your area mate ,its all the rage at the moment .Approach a few of these and offer your services when they move the sheds .Getting in is hard i know but once you get to know the pullers ,they will usually ring you up with offers to work the dogs .All free of course .We had to travel a bit for this one but it was worth it :clapper:
