Am getting kits this year and getting back into ferreting & them being Female i thought i would ring the vets to inquire how much a "Jill Jab " was, now i have been told the vets i was ringing was used to dealing with ferrets & hawks etc so when i ask how much for the jab i was replied to with the words , oh you mean the injection to neuter them, i replied simply no its to bring them out of season & tried to explain why & when its needed, havnt got a clue was the reply, so i rang another to be asked whats one of those, never heard of it ?? wtf ? so does anyone know of a vets around Manchester area can travel if needed but obviously not a day out !! just want to know the vet i will be using knows something about ferrets before i allow them to start injecting them or if something happens to my ferrets or am i just being paranoid & any vet will do ??

, have heard of a vets called molly varden or sommat like that around Manchester who i hear deals with a lot of BOP but cannot seem to find the address, i know i was probably speaking to someone who just takes calls etc but surely you would have thought they would have some idea or knowledge or even a check sheet with basic pricing on ??
