Daytime vs. Lamping

sulukis aint thick there real brainy just got to be brought up the right way then you will see how clever they realy are

 

Aye, you see them used all the time on them agility tests........ Give it 10 years, everyone will be saying German shephard who.... collie whit..... gies a Saluki, they're just so intelligent.....

I thought the question was what were the differences in daytime work and lamping not what dog was best suited to it. During the day the dog should be able to work a field use it's nose mark holes, flush and catch quarry......lamping the dog should be obedient, return staight away and not hunt up if it misses. Should be able to follow down the beam. pick squatters up, and not pull your arm of when your walking toward whatever your lamping. ;)

I also like my dog to retrieve.... I also like my dog to catch quarry on the lamp too :D
