Guest Know Fack all Posted July 4, 2006 Report Share Posted July 4, 2006 Hi all, I have got my new 8wk patterdale pup and every thing is fine apart from one thing The pup keeps biting my boys legs, and hes covered in grazes, Can anyone give me some advice on the best way to tackle this sort of behavior. thurso jack 3 Posted July 4, 2006 Report Share Posted July 4, 2006 squeeze the sides of the dogs muzzle so that you are pressing his lips onto his teeth after every bite followed by a stern "no" and he will soon learn whats for biting andn whats not, remember puppys bitting is there way of learning about the world much like a child will touch everything, so its not being bad but just needs to learn what it can and cant do. hope this helps.
