Hi Mate Sometimes these ballistic silvertips are really hard to get hold of and if I come across them I buy them as a matter of course. I have tried them in my old 223 cz and the tikka that replaced it and found them to be the best factory round (other than corbon 60g) available. Trouble is once you get used to the level of accuracy they offer out of the box you wont use anything else. Having said that they may not suit your rifle but I doubt it. Colin Quote Link to post
Paul.L 0
I use them in .243 and they are that good ,consistantly accurate ,but pretty damn expensive ,have paid £32 although trying to replicate with a homeload. Quote Link to post
karlp86 0
i have seen them in the shops but are far too expensive! i can get the norma vmax ammo for half the price which shoots sub half inch at 100yards in my rifle (both 40 and 50grain bullets). if the norma ammo shoots well in your gun dont waste your money on the silvertips. atb karl Quote Link to post
