hey all i have just read this week shooting times and read a very interesting debate . the use of electric collars for training and want to hear your views

i got 1 to use on my terrier the best money ive spent hes a diffrent dog now

 

he used to run of / work himself /bark with the collar no more :11:

mind you it like most things in the wrong hand it can do more good than bad so it depends on the user :good:

i was told that it doesnt make a difference because the dog no's when the collor is on and when it is off

The trick is let the dog wear the collar for about a week before you activate the collar. This way he/she gets used to wearing the collar you don't need to leave the collar on the dog for long periods of time.

yep that would make sense :good: . the first one i saw delivered a shock but i heard that they had to change it to a vibration becuz of humanity issues!
