    I have been told to use a glove. I have had ferrets for years and do not use a glove. I have been sold this ferret by somebody who has been ferreting a lifetime and he told me while it was young to handle it for 5 mins a day. I take my ferrets out to the warrens every week and I have a full day with them. I have never used a locator and have never lost a ferret. I have ferrets that are 10 years old and healthy still hunting. So how dare you call me special needs, I don't know what made you think that you had a right to do so you.     I have had ferrets for years but only had to train one. I trained a jill kit years ago to go down holes but have forgotten how to do it. I purchased another jill kit in July and the man said not to work her until November. What do you guys do to get them ready to go down the holes? I have handled her for 5 mins almost every day but she is still getting bushy tailed and bitting me. I haven't worn a glove for years with my ferrets as I trust them but I'm not to sure if this one will come out the hole again. I have never used a locator and I do not plan on using one.

    I know somebody in Peebles with a Hob from this years litter.

    It's ok now I think I have found some kits. I have been bounced aeound abitbut eventually a source came up with some body he new had kits

    Ok thanks it is just the warrens I will be working this year will be big ones and I need another Ferret. I have put requests out on all the pages that I can find and have come up empty. So if anybody has kits r know of any kits from hunting lines near peebles then please contact me.

    Thanks does anybody have any kits Nr Peebles? Just asking before I take this Jill as I would prefer a kit to a Jill which is a few years old.

    Hi I have been looking for kits but nobody seems to have some close by so have been offered a mature jill and was wonderingly you can still train her to work before I take her?

    Looking for ferret kits around Peebles. Colour does not matter just need the one kit. Would need it to be female. I you do not have any but know someone who has any help would be appreciated.

    Right thanks guys sounds like I just need to keep them clean. Anybody breed working polecat ferrets around the Peebles area? Forgot to do this earlier but here is some info on me. I first started of with an albino Jill called snowy I then found an albino hob on the moors which somebody had obviously lost and I took him in and he was a lovely animal. He was related to all my ferrets after a couple of years except the original "snowy" so is gave him to somebody who wanted to start breeding ferrets along with a trained Jill to give them a head start on ferreting. 8 years on I still have my origin

    Hi I have bred my ferrets every year and have been told that if they are not bred they die by a few people. I was wondering if this is true because I was considering to give breeding a Mia this year. I know about having them spade or getting a Jill jag and having a neutered hob on them takes them out of season but was just curious too see if this is true.
