  1. first thing, as i said above, when the rifle reaches lower than 100 bar, theres not enough pressure keeping the valve closed so it dumps all the air left in cylinder, to fill back up cock the bolt back and keep it back so that its not pushing against the valve holding it open a bit, then give it a blast, dont go too mad and it will close the valve up, soon as it starts taking air again slow down the input of air and fill as normal

you might have another problem not related to this but its worth a try, just be careful

  2. what happens when you fill past 130 bar, also when you run down the air past a certain pressure, some air rifle valves require a certain pressure left in the cylinder to keep the valve closed, run right past this point and it will require a sharp blast of air from the fill bottle to shut it so it can be filled up again

  3. i suppose its hard to imagine what its like when you have a bad back or neck and the slightest movement can be very painful, so opting for a rifle to be as light as possible but still retaining quality so you are able to keep this sport alive and to carry on enjoying yourself doing what you love is a very good thing and will always have my support, im very glad bauble you got back into it and hope you get back the enjoyment you once had in the sport

  4. my experience comes from trying lots of high end NV add ons and stand alones, i just couldnt justify parting with my cash until i was satisfied with a few factors, 1 mainly being picture quality, 2 being able to service and fix easy, 3 cost, i found only pitch black had these factors, so i thought to myself, i wonder if all this about home builds is what its cracked up to be, so i bought all the kit and it sure is, so much so that after a few hunting mates have seen what a home build nv set up can do they soon wanted to build one them selves, all the wires ect can easily be tucked away and made to look real neat and factory made, trouble is tho you have to like tinkering, for people that dont like to tinker then i suppose they have no choice but to purchase a pricey already made, of which after testing the pitch black against the nitesite, there is no doubt that pitch black wins on all fronts, of course people have opinions, but im not after opinions, i just wanted a fact of which is best for the money and quality, and ive found out after a lot of testing and money

  5. For the price and a really clear picture you cant beat pitch black for a stand alone day and night scope, you get everything you need, ive tried many a NV scope and found most to be very grainy and not that clear, tho if you really want the best for your money and like to tinker then id say build your own, stand alone or add on, theres plenty of help and pointers on the nightvision forum, also if you get the right camera and lens youll find it hard to beat the quality

  6. build your own add on NV with the e700 board camera, its easy and has a better picture than any thats costs 100s of pounds, as been said join the night vision forum, plenty of help for you to build it

1 other option is the pitch black, you get a lot for the money http://www.pitchblacknightvision.co.uk/ i had the chance at the great british shooting show to play with a few n v set ups and this is the best for the money, nitesite are a little over priced for what they are, you can have better for cheaper if you build it yourself
