  1. What's the big problem if you've got a good working dog and bitch you want to keep a pup or two to keep the line going and you want to sell the surplus it's nobody's business no matter what the price is the pups will sell for what people think they are worth. In other words if there's a pup or two left after the rest have gone then you drop the price. And before any body starts I haven't bred a litter of pups for fourteen years and the fifteen month old border dog I have here cost £550.

  2. I know because I'm the mug who has to wait for the pain in the arse womble looking b*****d when he goes missing to ground, fortunately I never have to wait long lol. As you should know the dog might just go up a gear if I could be arsed to put the effort in to dig him or let him know he's doing the right thing.

One thing I'll say about them when they're baying away, they could wake the dead, he's got the deepest bay I've ever heard, he sounds like a old dog hound.

Digging teckels ! not for me.

Stick your teckels up your ar@se. Lol.

  3. Can I just add everything I know today I learned myself ratting ferreting foxing lamping all types of vermin control self taught I'm not saying I was always alone but I was always there and other people dropped out so all I'm saying is if the youngsters of today are keen enough they will go hunting no matter what as we all know it's in the blood/genes

it's not always youngsters I'm fecking 40 pal and as far as digging goes I think you need some guidance it ain't just let the dog see it and hope.it chases I been hunting most my life one way or another little lads go ferreting on there own lamping is easy point the light and slip the dog I can call foxes in with relative ease but digging on me own well I find it a bit worrying might just be me though.
