bit of an update on my little guy (who I have lovingly named fatty) He is playing, eating and pooping like the others all be it a little slower as he is dragging his belly around. There has ben no change in his condition. He is the first into the food too. I have decidedto keep this little guy along with a gill. He will not be culled I hope he will get over this at some point. Thanks for your kind comments guys. if he costs me a few quid in vet bills now =, im sure he will pay me back ten fold with coonies.
-
All the vet saidate was he's got a grumbly belly, so have him a jab for that, a jab with fluids and I got stuff called betamox two drops a day to give him . And he's on cooked chicken now too lol Wallet £25 lighter too haha. Little fella is right in himself eating drinking playing. So just hope he gets through this.

Bright green poo guys that's what is coming out of him atm. He's eating drinking and playing with his syblings. But trip to the vet in the morning

Spoke with a guy in the Welsh game fair over the weekend and there looks like there is a good chance that the father could be an wild European polecat. So they are likely to be hybrid kits. I know my area does have a population of wild polies so looks good.

not much colour change yet will i see any??
-
Lol :-)Separate from kits when old enough. She will settle, could be protective/dominance thing. Or a woman thing. Atb when is old enough??

in peoples experience do your jills become very agressive following a litter. I expect her to be protective of her young, but she is now looking to have a go at the first oportunity. She has alway been a little tempramental. I was gifted her from an old school ferreter and she is a good worker. But it is now getting tothe point where I cant even put my hand into the hutch without her looking to bite. Any tips would be great. The kits are almost 5 weeks old and starting to wean and become more active.

I amhoping fora wild strain to be honest but think your probably right.......they are clueless.....
-
What were you hoping for out of the litter? I like poleys myself. To be honest mate this litter was unexpected, my gill got out and was picked up by rspca, returned to me after two weeks. didnt even know she was up the duff lol. Im realy happy with how she is coping and I dont really mind what colours they turn out was a bit shocked to see such vivid grey/blue colour. never seen it before. As formy preferance I just want a good worker, I think all ferrets have a personality of their own socolourdont matter. Here is an update, they are coming on great. https://youtu.be/zVcljB
