  1. cheers, yeah i no iv a little wait for the season to kick in yet just thought id put the feelers out and see what response i got if any, iv been doing my homework which has whats brought on the urge to do it for myself but watching videos and reading up only shows you so much, you can never beat hands on experience with someone who's does it for the pleasure
  2. Hi all i no this is a big ask but here goes. Im interested in ferreting but have never been nor no anybody to go to for advise, i am looking for somebody willing to let me tag along with them on an out to give me an insight into the sport and show me the ropes so to speak before i go out and buy ferrets, nets collars etc without even knowing its for me and then getting rid 6months down the line, in return i am willing to help out, donkey the gear and be on the end of the shovel or whatever needs doing. I am a respectful 32 year old guy just looking for a helping hand into a new sport and maybe
  3. been looking at the bsa super10 and r10 and he air arms 410 although I'm very open to suggestions! i do no what you mean tho with the difference in pcp to springer, it does feel like its you doing it all with the springer as opposed to the tool doing the job! thee cometa isn't a bad gun reasonably built and came as a part payment for a job i did so didn't really cost me anything other than about half hours work, not sure whats happened to it tho cos it was hitting a tight centre and now its shooting about 18inches high over 25-30yards?
  4. only used a springer as i acquired it as part payment for a job i did, always shot pcp prior to this i do like the springer but feel hunting/field wise a multi pcp would be a wiser choice,I'm very pleased with the springer, its a cometa 400 fenix if anybody's come across them?not at a club but been looking at going along to furnace mill range,
  5. looking to spend upto 600 all in the 410 tdr looks a nice rifle and being take down is ideal to walk to my mates farm shop in a rucksack for a spot of ratting!
  6. Nothing wrong with the runt of the litter,my whippet was the runt and she's a cracking little dog, same goes for her mom and she was a crazy worker, she was retired early for her own safety as was to headstrong and would never come back without the rabbit regardless of what she had to smash through to get it lol go for it
  7. Hi all been out of the sport for a while and always used to use my uncles s16 or weirak but looking to start up again and purchase my own Pcp, I'll be using it lampong with the odd pogeon/roaming to boot so after something loghtish nice wooden stock and multishot. I'm looking to spend upto 600 for a good used gun, .22 preferablybut. Also interested if Anyone thinks otherwise would be better? Cheers Dan
  8. Not too sure def open to ideas used to shoot an s16 and a weirak (not spelt that right but you know what I mean) of my uncle's but looking at the bsa r10/s10, after multi shot with a nice woodenstock not into these sythetic stocks personally, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
  9. Hi all recently got back into air rifles and hunting after a good 5-6.year break but after recently aquiring a Springer the bug has bitten again so a pcp will be repalcing it shortly! :-)
