    Thanks! I usually hunt ptarmigan, capercaillie and black grouse. But the ptarmigan hunt is my favourite.

    Thanks for your kind words. The rope was very useful when he was young, but since we have trained a lot since then I will not use it in future hunts. And yes, he got stuck now and then, to his frustration. Last autumn was a top season. I have hunted grouse and ptarmigan for 19 years, and I have never seen anything like this. Truly amazing.

    Hello fellow hunters. I would like to share this video with you. It features grouse and ptarmigan hunting in the mountains of middle Norway, and gives a decent impression of how this hunting is performed here. Please note that this a video filmed mainly with Contour/GoPro headcams, and a minimum resolution of 720p is recommended. The video is also available in 1080p, which of course offers the best viewing experience. Enjoy.
