Jills usually start shedding their coat around 4 weeks or so after they've been mated. The blue tint is the new coat under the skin.
Thanks for reply.
Yes i agree, my other ferret has just started doing the same, blue tint especially noticeable on the nose.

Well she's eating well, putting on weight in fact which I don't mind to much as she is pregnant.
I will keep an eye on she seems well in herself just the discolouration.

Hi all. I've recently mated my ferret, 3 weeks ago, and also the weather has turned hot.
Now handling the ferrets today I've noticed the ferret has started losing fur and it's skin has a blue tint. This was not apparent yesterday.
Is this a problem that needs sorting or will it go away once she has malted.
Thanks to all you ferret genius

Not sure although I'm a bit unsure where to look.

I would go for a good grew myself
A good grew would be ideal mate, finding a sire is difficult especially when you narrow it down to 1 cross

What height is your bitch?
Just over 23inch tts mate that' why I thought a taller sire to make sure they hit atleast 23
-
So then any whippet men on here? I don't want to make another thread

Showed you the best dog mate 500 nothing for that breeding
Sorry pal but firstly I don't want to spend 500 on a possible breeding and secondly I don't want to be drawn in by names

That would be a sensible option.
A whippet x greyhound would be perfect! I just didn't want to target 1 single cross as I would struggle to find a sire
-
Also please don't ask for £500 to stud - frosty Jack × Strongbow put back to Heineken who was out of flip flop.
I'm not really into the last 12 grand parents I just want a genuine dog.
No offence intended ?

Would you no think of putting a greyhound whippet over her if she lacks speed just a thought
Yes I've thought about a grew however I'm not gonna limit myself to one cross therefore that' why I ask for coursing type lean, fast with good speed.

Got the same dog here mate. Saluki collie grey x Grew but he’s more saluki so thrown to that side. I would have been happy with a bit more collie in him! He’s doing a good job though. Plenty of lads on here with coursing types so hope you find what you are after ?
Yeah thanks mate

Hi all, looking for a sire for my bitch, she's a collie/whippet/saluki/greyhound mainly running dog however she' thrown alot of collie.
She' 23inch tts is a cracking dog however only thing she lacks is top speed therefore I would like to put a coursing dog something fasy around 25inches over her.
Willing to pay/travel however in and around Shropshire if possible. Thanks

Platic costs money to dispose of properly which most don't have that's why you see them burning it which is illegal too
