Hi chaps , I recently got a new ferret . His 8 months old and is a hell of a lot bigger than my 6 month old silver hob. I introduced them to each other in a stable on the farm where neither have been before and they were perfect with eachother. They didnt attempt to fight. Put them in their hutch and they were fine , they slept together etc. This week ive noticed that the silver hob has some biting marks on the back of his neck and last night I walked past their hutch and all I could hear was squealing. his in with another one now which has seemed to help but theyve got a double cage with logs and pipes in but he still runs around as if hes been locked up in a hunting box allday. but thanks for the advice anyway .

Hi guys , got a quick question. I've got a 8month old hob that as soon as he hears me coming into the shed where his hutch is kept , he just get all hyperactive, runs , jumps over his sleeping compartment and bites at the bars. As soon as I pick him up he starts talking and I put him down he just goes crazy and he refuses to just hang when I pick him up. Ive just bought another ferret thats so quite and put them together but its made no change. They both come out and play nearly everyday for a good 20minutes or longer . So what can I do just to calm him down ? And to make him hang wh

Many people out there lamp with a shotgun ? , been out a few times with a mate but I live on a farm and only can go out when my mates home from away . Just wondering do anyone use a lamp that can secure to the barrel?
