    showing at a T AND L show is like showing anything anywhere as everyone knows there are a small percentage of very good, be it dogs cars bikes etc that will always win because they have won time ane time again not because its a fix if your lucky enough to havethe best of something you can pretty much guess your gonna get somewhere in the line up its a fact of life people stick to what the know when they pick whatever it is their judging sour grapes and the yell of fix will always go on not a lot we can do about that but take it on our broad shoulders and ignore it .. show organisers get sick

    hi sorry been a while replying just got out of hospital after having my arm put back on (well thats what it feels like owch) we dont give out names of our judges sorry never have done after first yr because of people phoningand offering half the prize money to win sad isnt it

    no cause we aint been its for tommorow doh and we have no choice other than to pay on gate because the rest of the people on the bus still want to go and the bus is paid for we cant let them down we will have to try get our money back as we payed by credit card

    yes they will have papers and wont be letting them go till after xmas not letting them be someones xmas pressie then dumped after xmas i would rather keep them than see that happen to them

    our club sent and paid for 23 tickets in advance for the midlands gamefair we were told they were sent out on tue 14th of sept and its now sat and there is no sign of them i am not amused we phoned the company yesterday and were told they would deffo be here also turns out the confirmation letter that did arrive grr says that it cannot be used for entry so now we all have to pay again COSTS ENOUGH TO GET IN AS IT IS MIDLANDS GAMEFAIR TAKE NOTE THIS ISNT FAIR

    I aint amused about tickets our club ordered and paid for 23 tickets in advance and was told by company they were sent out on tue 14th and its now sat and no sign of them then they tell us that the confirmation letter we recieved will NOT give us entry so now we all have to pay again on the gate GRRRRRR

    the welsh valleys working terrier and lurcher club are running a coach to the midlands gamefair on sun 19th sept there are a few seats available thanks to people dropping out last minute if anyone is interested we will be picking up at gelligaer aberbargoed and pontlottyn ( dont know if i spelt them right sorry ) cost is £20 per person anyone interested or wanting more info please phone mick on 07900353021 or pm me we are a good bunch so come and join us we dont bite he he lift from treorchy area to gelligaer is available if u do live in that area

    normally have a good turn out of great people who come and support us the open show will start about 1 oclock and yes its open terrier and lurcher show open to anyone who wants to enter a dog

    what show in july do u mean the gelligaer farmers hunt if so its just before that not on the common but in the lane leading to the common as u get to the top of the hill you will see a pub pass that and its about 4 fields down in the lane WATCH YOU DONT GO INTO THE CAR BOOT ITS HELD ON THE SAME DAY OPPOSIT OUR SHOW.. anyone wishing to place trade stands please get in touch we dont charge just ask for a money donation at the end of the show there is an open show as well as the championship the open show is open to all

    yes we held qualifiers but a lot of the paperwork has not been returned also i have been hearing off people who have qualified that they did not recieve their qualification slip that should have been given out on the day so if anyone has won a best in show with lurcher or terrier in any show in uk please get intouch and i will let you know if you have qualified thanks

    the welsh valleys working terrier and lurcher club are holding their annual terrier and lurcher champion of champions and open show at gelligaer on sept 26th championship to be held first at 11 o clock followed by open show open to all ... please note championship can only be entered by dogs that have qualified at a show throughout the year if you have won a best in show with either terrier or lurcher you are eligable to enter . there will be some trade stands and refreshments on field for more info tel cath 01443 438535.

    oct show is on 24th oct there will be sim courcing in morning and courcing championship we are toying with running the racing before show as to get the bullet out of the way before the light fades will let everyone know more once we have decided, open show in barn with all normal classes so no problems with the weather as its all indoors , catering on premises too. PLEASE NOTE ALL PEOPLE WHO QUALIFIED FOR HEART OF WALES CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS SHOW TERRIER AND LURCHERS HAVE ALSO QUALIFIED FOR WELSH VALLEYS CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS ON IN SEPT ,,,
