I've always been an outdoors person. I grew up on a farm in Zimbabwe and from a young age I was taught to hunt, shoot and fish. My father was very "old school" and I was brought up to respect my prey, even the vermin I hunted on the farm. I'm a big fan of classic rifles and of game shooting too, especially walked up game shooting. I don't believe in wasting anything and my bag is always used as food for my hawks. Falconry is another passion of mine, like hunting or shooting it is beautiful sport. I'm well into fishing too. I take pride in all my hobbies and my rifles, rods, hawks and dogs are always treated with the utmost care. I've never really taken to modern rifles. I am, however, very taken with the daystate range of PCP rifles, the Huntsman range in particular. I rencently ordered the new Daystate Huntsamn Regal. A fantastic looking rifle. I'm itching for it to arrive. Of my current air rifles I favour a Webly Mark II in .22. A beautiful rifle in mint condidtion. I am precision obsesive and spend hours on the range in practice and i'm always pushing my boundaries. I often experiment with different weight heads and pelets. My father always reloaded his own rounds, a passion that I have inhiereted.
