I know that you use the eye reliëf to set the crosshair sharp. The crosshair is sharp, but I cannot get the background sharp with the eye reliëf. With the mtc you get the background sharp with the parallax.

Hello,
A friend of mine build me a very nice night vision. I looks and functions like a night site.
However i have a swarovski z6i 2.5-15x56 with parrallax. The image fromt he nightvision is very sharp and clear but only when the parrallax is set at 0. I set the camera so that the crosshair is sharp but when i look at a target the only way to get the background shard is putting the parrallax at 0 and play with the magnification for a clear view at different ranges.
When i put the nightvison kit on a mtc mamba 4-16x50 i can use the parrallax turret to get a clear view at different ranges. With the mtc the parrallax works just the same with or without the nightvision.
How is it possible that my 15 times more expensive swarovski will not get a good image with the use of the parrallax turret? It looks like the parrallax will not to anything.
Thanks allot,

It is almost certain a fake. Here in Holland they are very popular with airgunners. I don't know what you paid for it? You can buy them new at arround 60 pounds.
Not a bad scope at all for that money.

Hello,
I want to start reloading a 75 grain vmax bullet with imr 4350
But i can not find any max load data for a 75 grain with imr 4350
I i look at reloading data other manufacters have rated a 70 grain bullet with 47 grain max load and a grain bullet with 45 grain max load.
So would 46 grain be my max load?i will just start low and work up the load. As long as i don't see any stress signs on the brass i would be good right?

Do they make the 527 in .22-250?
Thought it is no bigger than .223
I think for a .22-250 you will need to get a cz 550

Your'e right the scope is high. Because the swarovski has a rail the scope could not be mounted any lower with the eaw mounts. But it does not botter me because im always shooting from the bipod and im used to shoot right hand guns so never had a cheekpiece. If you put a regular scope with rings on it it will mount lower.Good review and agree about the scope been too high.

Thanks for the reply!

My hawke is good on both rimmy and 243 out yo over 250 yards easy.
Not the best glass ever but for the price they are much better now than a few years ago
Fair to mention that the hawke i shot with is more then 5 years old.

I like the MTC scopes better then the hawkes. Shot a few times with a endurance 3-12x56. The hawke was not nearly as clear as the mtc scopes i have seen!

Hello,
This i a review of my Titan 6. I will try to use good English.
I have been shooting the titan 6 for about 8 month's now.
Now i can really tell if this rifle is good or not.
My rifle specifications and set up:
Titan 6
.243 winchester
19mm semi weight barrel (65cm)
Single set trigger
Luxes wood stock
EAW mounts
Swarovski z6i 2.5-15x56
Harris 6-9 inch bipod
Pro's and Con's
+ Very nice looking rifles
+ Great accuracy
+ Great trigger
+ Superb bolt cycling (never seen better)
+ You can make your own style gun at www.titan6.com
+ Quick changeable barrel
+ Good service
- Plastic parts
- Trouble putting 3 bullets in magazine (explain later)
- Bit picky on ammo choice
-/+ Long bolt cycling, for me this is no con but some people may think it is.
With my rifle i shot over 400 times now. So far it never lost zero and always shooting great. The only time i had some trouble with the gun was when putting 3 bullets in the magazine. The spring in the mag was getting so much tension that it pushed the first bullet out before it was fully lined up with the chamber resulting in a jam.
When i contacted Rossler about this they sended me a new magazin for free within a week! So the service of this company is great! Also email contact with the factory is very good and fast.
When i first looked at the pictures of the titan i really liked the looks. But when i started to read reviews and tests of the titan i started second guessing myself. Some reviews where really positive but some where terrible.
Here in Holland titan is not popular (i think in Great Britain it's the same?) so some shooting with the rifle or even seeing it before i bought it was a problem.
After several months of thinking and doubting i ordered the gun. Until today i am so happy it bought this gun. I shot with a tikka t3 next to mine and the tikka felt like a toy gun.
Shooting from the bipod is great with my gun but shooting free handed is almost impossible due to the heavy barrel. The gun mounted with the swarovski weights: 4.4 kilo's. However the same gun without the heavy barrel and scope only weights 3 kilo's
When i first tested the rifle i bought 3 different brand of ammo: Sako grain (i think), Norma 58 grain vmax, Winchester ballistic silvertip 95 grian. The first two would not group as i hoped, they both did over 1 inch to 2 inch groups at 110 yards. But the winchesters made nice clover leaf groups. So i zeroed the gun with the winchesters and started shooting groups at 110 yards. After that i started shooting a 220 yards and the groups where still great (about 1,5 inch) then i pushed is further to 273 yards and the groups where still about 2 inch! At 330 yards the groups remained to be at about 2 inch. However i had some flyers but it's not the rifle who did that. Sorry for the strange ranges but in Holland we use meters instead of yards. I'm sure the rifle could produce even better groups i i took the time for it.
I now have shot crows from 100 yards upto 400 yards! And i have to say that hitting a crow sized target up to 300 yards is not a problem at all if there are no strong winds. Every time i pull the trigger the guns brings a big smile on my face! Everything from the looks, handling, cycling of the bolt to the accuracy is great in my eyes!
Why these guns are not that popular i don't know. In my opinion these titans are some of the best guns for the money!
Here are some pictures of the rifle:

If you are mounting it on the scope i would sugest to put the lamp as far back as possible or use a sunshade. Otherwise you might get reflections in you're scope.

Depends on what budget.
I really like the hawke panorama 3-9x40 or 4-12x50 with the half milldot reticle. They have a extreem wide field of view and the half milldot reticle is realy nice.

Looking in to getting a 223 for the foxes ive got 243 what does the damage but heard a lot of good reports on 223 what to you say
If you have a .243 i would stick to that. In my opinion shooting different rifles will not get youre shooting better.

Thank you!
Of course i will never fire a shot without a safe backstop and knowing the area.
I was just wondering if there whas more risk in taking a long range shot then a close range.

Hello,
A friend and I where having a discusion this evening. He said it's dangerous to shoot at distances over 400 yards because the further you shoot the more chance of having a bullet bouncing up at a object and going over the backstop.
I thought that the more distance you shoot the more angle the bullets has over the surface when hitting a object and less chance of bouncing up at a object.
In my opinion in a close range shot when the bullet is traveling at the same angle as the surface the chance of bouncing is much bigger.
Anyone has got experience with this?
Thanks alot!

Yes great ammo,
My dad shoots it with his brno model 2. Very accurate and fast bullet. he shoots <0.5 inch a t 50 metres. Here in Holland allot of shooters use them.
I have a cz 452 and shoot the CCI velocitor but tried the winchester also. Both very accurate and deadly only the velocitor is al little faster en heavier so a bit more punch

Never had any luck using a decoy owl, feckers didn't even look at it
Try a fox...
We use a stuffed fox. It works great! We had crows coming in to 10 yards just hanging above the fox. Another great advantage is that when they see the fox they won't look that much at their surrounding.

Smart looking rifle.
Thank you!
I don't know why there are quite a few bad reviews about this gun. Maybe people that used to have higher priced guns or so.
In Holland the price of a luxes titan 6 is simular to a tikka t3 so i have no clue why they are not so popular.

nice little rifle!
Great review but would like to see you shoot some in the review... 20 minutes is a very long time to listen to somebody talking.
Gr Jacco
Aye, I think next time I'll throw in a written list of the stats with some footage of the rifle and a quick summary.
That would be great!
