    Hi I have a 10 month old patterdale bitch that is doing really well in great health and happy she came into heat mid December and I am 99.9% sure nothing ever got to her as I always kept my coker spaniel separate from her during this time (he has since been spayed). She has now developed a pair of tits (not massive but bigger than they should be) that produce milk although she does not have a belly at all. So my question is is this a phantom pregnancy as she would have already had the pups if anything had got to her wouldn't she? Any advise would be grateful.

    this was mine you guys will probably be able to tell me your thoughts but was told she was a border x lakeland whatever she was she was a cracker on the rats. sadly no longer with us but trying to find a replacement

    honestly, why would you want to cross them? i just wondered if it was a common practise and did it add possatives to both breeds.

    thanks for the reply yes I agree they look a cracking little dog I was just worried all of the hunter had been bred out of them.

    Hi are these still used as woking terriers? are they any good thinking mainly as a ratter but would be interested to know if they are used anywere else? any help appreciated.
