    hi iv been having a look through loads of web sites about problems with ferrets and i finaly found one about the problem that i have with my mother ferret and her kits, it is also called polydactyly the same that is found in cats, that is a inherited harmless defect.     hi all now this may seem to be a daft question, but has any one had or got a ferret with an extra toe, my polecat has an extra toe on one foot, now after a close inspection 2 of her kits have the same on one of there feet aswell

    this is a differant litter had two litters at the same time this is from my polecat the liter that died was from my albino

    hi can anyone help me, my jill had a litter last sunday but sadly they all died 3 days later, now a week and 1 day later iv noticed she is realy swollen down below again, could she be in season again or would it be an infection shes got,

    well i dont no whats happend but the rest of my litter of kits have now also died so its quite upsetting i dont no if it because it was her 1st litter or she didnt have enough milk or she was just a bad mum , so i have now got a jill with no litter and a jill with 7 still

    hi thanks for your comments, hope yous comes soon :thumbs-up: im going to take pics of them every week and post them to show there to show how there growing well im realy gutted today went to check the kits today and i found 4 dead so im down to 4 in one litter now, the other litter of 7 seems to be fine

    kickins have finally arrived came home from Blanchland show last night and there was 14 of them shes done well for her first litter well chuffed hi my 2 jills have also had there 1st litters last nite one litter of 8 and the other of 7, both jills were bread by kickins hob george

    Plenty there to keep you busy it was quite a shock that my albino has had more than my pole as she was tiny compaired to her

    well i went to feed my 2 jills last nite and what did i find they both have had there kits woo hoo, stumpy my albino has has 9 but one dead and sash my polecat has had 7, so looks like iv got my hands full now

    still a youngser then, ours whos called ajax is around about 7yrs old and 3.5ft so hopefuly hes stopped growing
