  8. Thanks for complimentry comments, Made me realise what a nice bitch, I'm now temped to give her a bit more time & see if she'll settle with the rest of my dogs, she seems to have calmed a bit knowing that shes in my bad books.
  9. Cheers mate, yes allot of good feed back about the bitch, If I can't find the right home for her I will stick with her a while, shes only young after all & I do like her!
  10. Thanks my friend, yes she is strong & fit, she may benefit from loosing a couple of pounds!

  12. I am selling my 1 yr old Parsons Russell, she does'nt get on with my other dogs, she is rough coat well built & fit, In the right hands she will make a good sporting working dog, she is intelligent although boisterous sometimes - good round kids. She is legally docked, micro chipped, vaccinated, house trained, will live in or out, Bracken follows basic commands, introduced to ratting, marks up & has flushed quarry from bush, although sometimes she has a mind of her own -... I am only a novice! If you think you could work with Bracken I'm not asking a fortune £150 - she cost me allot
  13. So I purchased the Benelli Vinchi 12 bore semi auto last year for a bit of rough shooting thinking I was buying a real good piece of kit, I have had it out a half dozen times firing a total of around 200 cartridges, it randomly jams not fully cycling, I am using a 34grm load, my gun is clean & lubed, I'm ging to put another 50 cartridges through it & if still the same take it back to the shop but would prefer to work out myself, has anybody any experience with semis & fixes I could try, thanks Pat.
  14. I have the oppertunity to buy a Hawke IR30 3-12x50 scope at a great price, any scope advice or have you used one? to be used at short to medium distance on rabbit & small quarry using .17hmr. All advice useful as it seams to be a jungle' when it comes to optics, thanks Pat.
  15. Thank you fellas both replies are sound advise, I'll shop around, anyone else with a favorite .17 hmr?
  16. Hello Hunting Life amigos, so I've got a few acres to shoot & have had a bit of success with my Benelli 12 bore semi, I have recently aquired my firearms & am wanting to buy my first .17 hmr rifle, I am considering among others the Browning 'T Bolt', I will be in the rough on a dairy farm having a walk round, probably rabbit as my quarry, I have a Hawke ir30 scope lined up just want the right rifle, has anyone a recomendation, is the 'T Bolt' a good piece of kit? I also have the option of a .223 but may be a bit ott' for what I want? Thanks for any replies. Pat Sheffield
