    George Hardy is writing a book at the moment. Has been in touch with our terrierman for pictures and stories, all pre ban of course!

    gary middleton may have typey stock, but he also has very sound working stock, which are game at even the hardest quarry. a mate of mine had one off him once, typey dog but worked well, pitty was it was also very fond of latching onto any other dog in kennel. and it killed another of his lakelands, called turk, bred out of ian church lines. (scotts corner area)

    Shes out of stuff bred by Chris Davies of north wales. passed away now but had some of the best lakelands and patterdales in the country at one time, rum old chap. hes mentioned in the book 'terriermen and terriers' by john broadhurst.

    We feed them pig lungs from the abattoir and cake waste from the local bakery. they seem to be doing great on it, been offered pub waste but atm our current food does them fine.
