Whizzie

Hi,

I got into air gunning a couple of years ago, pretty much by default really. I was living with & helping out, a couple of friends on their small holding. Rabbits had become a problem in the horse paddocks & the land wasnt suitable for higher powered firearms. I happened to meet a guy who was a passionate air gunner (who has since become a good friend.) The rest as they say is history. Things have progressed & I've now got approx 300 acres at 4 sites around these parts. I try to shoot at least twice every week, with the guy who is my very best mate & who also happens to be my only son.

My nicknames 'whizzie' because years ago a mate said I run everywhere! Which is kinda true, in addition to being passionate about air gunning, im an endurance athlete & usually run 5 or 6 trail / cross country ultra marathons a year ranging from 30 to 112 miles. I don't win em, but I get round, and in one piece. Then i spend the next 3/4 days hurting like hell & wondering why I do it! Guess I don't like my toe nails!??

Other than that I'm fortunate to live in the East of God's own County, by the sea, so iserve as a lifeboat crew member, & I ve had a bad week if I don't see a barn owl, when I'm out training.
