What do is clean it good with peroxide 1 or 2 times then pat it dry. Then I take a pair of my wife's pantyhose and cut two patches.One at a time I superglue 2 patches over the affected pad saturating them thoroughly. Depending on the dogs activity it will last 2-5 days, when it comes off repeat the procedure. Stitches are usually useless.
