    Hi all I've got a wellsummer cock that's just over a year old who's toes have started to curl under on one foot. I've done a bit of googling and think it might be curly toe paralysis. He seems fine in himself, eating, crowing and shagging as usual. The things I've read have mainly concerned chicks or young birds so was wondering if anyone knows if it occurs in adult birds? Also as the whole flock are on the same food is it typical for just one bird to suffer? If he is deficient will his toes go back to normal or are the symptoms irreversible? I'm going get some supplement anyway

    Hi all. I've got a lightforce 240 blitz, the one with the divvy dimmer switches, and the circuit board has blown. Any one know where I could source a replacement board. Had a Google around and it doesn't seem that they're readily available. Thanks.

    Cheers Dido, Reckon I'll try the Cheshire on Boxing Day as I think it's the closest and if it's something we might pursue I'll ask for for further details on more welcoming hunts. Fair enough on not giving meet detail out, it's a shame but it's the world we live in. Thanks again and have a good Christmas.

    Thanks for the replies fellas. Dido, all I'm after is a meet and greet for now, just want to dip my toes so to speak, not planning on riding or following just yet so the Boxing Day meet should be perfect really. Gone to earth, like above I'm only after going for a look for now and get my daughter out to see the horses and hounds so would the cheshire hunt be welcoming for the Boxing Day meet or would it be better to try the Holcome Pack you have suggested? Thanks again.

    Hi all, After my daughter saw the hounds at the game fairs I've told her I'd take her to a proper meet but haven't really got a clue where to start so have a couple of questions. Could anybody tell me where the Cheshire Boxing Day meet will be? Done a bit of googling and found it's been held at The Swan Hotel in Tarporley in previous years but nothing of where it will be this year. I'm assuming it will be at the same place this year but if someone could confirm this it would be great. Secondly, is it as simple as turning up and watching? I've never been to a hunt and know very litt

    I would suggest waiting for your F.E.O. visit and asking for advice on the position of your cabinet. I had the same problem with regards to a gap between the block and plaster board and was told to cut out the plaster board and set the cabinet flush against the block. Was a hassle but glad I didn't fix it through the plaster and have to re-do it. This was with G.M.P. but I know other forces may be different.

    Well the consensus is take someone with you, shop around and use cash. Definitely like buying a used car. Ha ha Sporting shooter: thanks for confirming what I thought about dealer and proof etc, this is definitely the way I will be buying my first gun. Safety being the paramount thing on my mind. Even if I do get done for a few quid at least I know it won't fail. Also, having a top price in mind is a good idea as I can see how easy it would be to get carried away ha.     Thanks for the replies, both of which make perfect sense. Will have to call in a favour from a friend of mine who used to shoot. I have planned to buy from a dealer rather than private as I'm assuming I'm less likely to have my pants pulled down and trust what they tell me to an extent. However if I go back to my used car analogy, theses big car supermarkets can't wait to rip you off. What's your experience of this in the shotgun world?

    Hi all, Just sent of for my shotgun certificate so, hopefully, will be shopping for a used shotgun in the near future. My question is, when buying a used shotgun is there certain things to consider and check? I've, obviously, never bought a shotgun so wouldn't know where to start aside from checking it's all there and straight. So any tips would be appreciated. I'm thinking in the context of buying a used car you would check the engine, body work, etc. So to approach buying a shotgun in the same manner with an idea of what to look out for would put me in a better position wh
