hi guys i had my little jill at the vets today as she was struggling to poop the vet said she had swollen anal glands he gave me antibiotics now she has a brown thick liquid coming from her vulva any ideas what this could be ? maybe the antibiotics starting to work shes still eating and drinking and running around

I clip the front paws every few weeks .I use old fleeces for bedding for the ferrets and if I don't clip the claws they get caught on the bedding

no I burst one and had a look inside only water in it and it always seems to be around the back legs I find the blisters

hi there anyone came across blisters on rabbits. over the last few weeks I have had a few with blisters under the skin its like water that's inside them

theres been young rabbits out here for 4 or 5 weeks

live in glasgow and just got back in to ferreting after about ten years away from it. theres not many rabbits about this year eaglesham used to be bouncing with rabbits but now its baron. i went up to dunblane to a sand quarry that i uased to ferret there used to be loads of bunnies now theres not even a sign of a rabbit ive been out 8 times this season and have 6 rabbits to show for it and 3 of them were in the one day .loads of rabbits down abington way but the farmers wouldnt let me on they said they have guys ferreting regular for them

you were right mate it was stuck on locate i opened it up theres a small piece of metal on the switch that just needed popping back into place

the collar was definatley on her before i put her down i tested the locator when i got home and as soon as i walked more than 7 foot from the collar i got no readings on the reciever at all

i was out with the ferrets today and the ferret lost its collar down a hole i put the mk3 reciever on and searched the area but could not find it the collar was definatley switched on because i tried it before i sent her down so any way couldnt find collar .when i got home i tested the finder and realised its only picking up collars up to 7 foot and no higher anybody else had this problem

its the same up in scotland i live in glasgow and travel around a 50 mile radius not many rabbits about ive been out 5 times this season and have 2 rabbits to show for it .i have went to places that were moving with rabbits a couple of years ago now there isnt even any signs of rabbits . and the places i know there is rabbits the farmers wont give me permision

the kits are 18 weeks old i gave them a dead rabbit the other night and 2 of them were scared of it to start with then they went for it

the meshes on my nets are 2 inches and ive made 50 of them . a couple of times today the collar came off in the net am paranoid about putting the collar to tight

had the kits out today found a few warrens but got nothing theres still to much cover im covered in nettle stings .chased a few bunnies but they didnt run down holes . i fitted the ferrets with the deben mk3 collar and noticed the ferret cant fit through the net without getting the collar tangled up any body else had this problem

any body any tips on getting the locator collar onto the ferret todays the first time i have tried it it took me half an hour to collar up one ferret
