  1. just got my harkilla prohunter trousers, and meindl antarktis gtx boots. got the nordkap thermal kit and sealskin hat, anybody else use this gear if so whats it like? and has anybody got the swedteam overalls they look like a good bit of kit for the early mornings, thanks.

  6. malays are about the biggest, but its not as easy as just getting a line true to type everythings crossbred now unless you try hard to get the right line, my o shamo stand upto 28" and my aseels 30", but I prefer my smaller birds, anything 26" or under for work them big birds are far too sluggish.
  7. just wanted some opinions, the dog will stay with me till its last days I couldn't fault him and he suits me to the bone.. but just wanted to see if anybody had out good or bad to say about him

  11. dad was pretty much full saluki with the smallest bit of collie whippet and i mean pretty much bred out, and mum was full whippet

  15. not every coursing lad does it like this mate. a few use rabbits etc then put them on early or late hares, if theyre up for ita couple of fit hares
  16. dog im using a bit on the lamp at the minute, saluki collie whippet x whippet, big and well built, takes everything
  17. yes mate your right they will throw alot of different stuff, but if you use line bred dogs chosen correctly you have potential at a good little lamp dog ( could be a big haha )
  18. good lamping dogs are lurchers, best to the best, but they all seem to have collie, a few have a bit of bull and saluki, and the main make up being greyhound. my ideal dog would be saluki bull greyhound x collie greyhound
