  1. I was told Frontline is only active in killing ticks in dogs for two weeks - I don't know if it's similar with ferrets. I'm having a dog/tick nightmare this summer apparently there has been an extraordinary amount of them around - feel for you and the ferret!
  2. The ad's been removed but think he'd said on it he'd found, trapped and killed it himself - which I think is the issue. Pretty twisted in my opinion, but I'm not into taxidermy so guess my opinion doesn't count
  3. I had a ferret with a broken back, I was going to try swimming but read if you put them in water straight away will just stress them out maybe completely put them off eating. I focused on giving him raw chicken wings, whole turkey mince and he built himself and his muscles up in no time. Sounds like you are doing the right thing!
  4. Unfortunately, even with a little notice in the local papers this guys owners still haven't been found. He is a really lovely guy but he just can not stay here, already have 7 more I'm trying to rehome (not my own but rescues - mostly found ferrets never reunited). If anyone would be interested in giving a good home to this guy please get in touch, I obviously don't want anything for him as he was neutered when he arrived, He is neutered and nip trained. Can't comment on his working ability. Good homes only, and I do home check so a home in Yorkshire would be good although I am wil
  5. I've got a hob found on near some fields in Mankinholes, Todmorden - he's neutered but not chipped. He's obviously been well cared for but may have been lost a week or two ago as looking pretty skinny.
