  1. Well thanks for all the advise guys!!! I do work with the locator only really had to use it to pin point wer the rabbits been nailled cos after the kill the ferret will just move on to the next and I've never went home empty handed even if it's just been the one dig out! Don't think I would swap for gills just cos mines are beast but my cousin has just got to young ones ATM so we'll see what happen [bANNED TEXT] we go out with the lot!!! Definatly no getting a muzzel tho!!! Lol this might be a lot of bull but I had someone tell me to put a bell round it's neck so that the rabbit would here
  2. I have two large hobs 1 polecat and 1 albino! They are great workers but often nail a rabbit or two down the hole! I give them a bit grub before I go out so never had them lay up, but this doesn't slow them down any!! Is ther anthing anyone can suggest?? Is there such a thing is a ferret muzzel???

  8. Aye, defiantly no many about like!! Got three on sun and had to dig one up! Inside the hole was like a stream! Think all the rain is the cause of the problem!!

  11. Yes he is my only dog! My brother has a lurcher but it is 9 now and is knackered for a day or two after a good days chasing, was great in his younger days tho!! Also a few of my mates have lurchers but Mostly go out at night! I take mine along to watch and learn but I don't know if it would be better for him to watch [bANNED TEXT] it's light!!!

  15. I have an 8 month whippet x pup. He had his first chase at a rabbit on sat ther and [bANNED TEXT] he got it he let it go to chase it again. He kept doing this untill I managed to get it off him and put it out it misery!!! Is ther somthing I can do in training or do u think he is still to young to be catching? Maybe should I wait till the puppyness is gone!!! As it looks as tho he is just playing with the rabbit!!!
