  1. Who knows, i could be able to use this as an excuse to buy 2 rifles?
  2. Nicely done! I know this may be an odd question but i'm new to hunting. Do deer and such fall straight away when it's a clean shot? Thanks
  3. I don't know much about this subject but i would imagine a face to face sale would be best. That way you can inspect the rifle yourself. Not saying the seller is a dodgy person at all but better safe then out of pocket!
  4. Aaah weaver fish! The bane of cornwall's beaches! Although thankfully i've never been had by one! Just seagulls having my pasty! And i'm in camborne mate. A good 15 miles even from falmouth and i have no way or transport except bus or push bike and i don't fancy carrying a gun shaped package on a bus ha!
  5. Trago is too far for me as i don't drive and it's a good 15 miles to the falmouth one. Even though they do have rifles. But i don't fancy carrying it around on the bus lol!
  6. I just posted in different sections to get more answers
  7. If you got anything that will blow a bigger hole feel frree!
  8. Thankyou very much Phantom. At last a little more productive advice. Well i know how to shoot as i used to shoot live 22 rifles at air cadets when i was abit younger although i shall deffinately be abit rusty! And ofcourse i'l be in my back garden shooting paper cut outs of Justin bieber. That's allowed right?
  9. Hi i'm new to hunting but also live in cornwall! If you be willing to share experience i'd get much grateful
  10. Surely Smk's aren't that bad?! This one is £140 after all
  11. Ah but i work for tesco and i always get the brunt on consumer power! Although i mostly win.. Ha! Back on subject though will lead pellets give me lead poisoning if shot into game that i want to eat?
  12. Thing is i haven't actually told her i've ordered it She said she'd shoot one though but at non living things! If they ring me and say they have no petrol i will ask for my money back else i'd be waiting atleast another millennium!
  13. Hiya and welcome to the forum! I'm also in cornwall.. Whereabouts you too?
  14. Ah but my girlfriend is almost pretty irritated that i want to shoot 'fluffy little wabbits' and i really don't' want to tell her i spent even more on a rifle
  15. No it's staff at Pellpax which drive the vans, all are RFD's The law doesn't state whether the sale has to be in a shop, at your door or at a mental asylum And yes they charge £19.99 for delivery which has just made me think. I'm expecting delivery wednesday but with this fuel crisis i may not get it!! I've already waited almost 2 weeks even though they're site says 'we aim to get you your rifle within 7 working days'
  16. Nah pellpax are RFD's and have their own delivery team and van's. And only for a cost of £19.99 which i thought was pretty good considering i'm at the other end of the country!
  17. Nah i ordered it from Pellpax online who deliver the rifle to your door :/ Ah well i'm very new to sport and have never shot air rifles. Was a impulse buy but am also on a tight budget :/
  18. Ah poo! But it said full power on the website?
  19. So i'm new into the sport and rather rashly ordered a Smk XS208 deluxe sporter with a Hawke sport hd 4x32 scope. .22 calibre Anybody know if this Is a decent rifle for range, accuracy etc? Cheers!
  20. Hi all! Very new to hunting. Haven't actually shot anything yet or have a rifle (on it's way) Just curious, i have ordered a Smk air rifle and Smk lead pellet's. I aim to be shooting live rabbit's, birds and other small game, but i'd also like to eat these. Will using lead pellets give me lead poisoning? I know this may be a simple question but i thought i'd better be safe! Cheers
  21. Also. If on a farm i will trade free labour for allowing me permission to shoot!
  22. Hi all. Very new to hunting. Will soon be looking for pest control in Cornwall and wandering if anyone would be willing to let me on their land. Although i'm only 20 i'm very mature for my age and very respectful of other people's property! I will also not be shooting anything other then targets until i get some experience in and can guarantee 100% a clean shot. Thanks in advance!

  24. It depends if you live here or just visiting. How can i put it... If your visiting it's a stunning place with lot's of historical greatness. You get to try the best pasties in the world! Were very proud of our mining heritages and beaches! On the downside when you live here it does get slightly boring :/
  25. Hey all. New to the forum and new to hunting in general! Ordered my rifle looking to get hunting soon! In the far end of cornwall. Lot's or farms so thought it'd be a good hobby/sport to get into Will be posting a few questions around the forum so be nice please Cheers!
