Doesnt sound like Southwick Quarry has changed much from when I used to shoot there as a kid!!! I thought places like that had wardens on these days to stop this type of behaviour...?

Fella's - Just wanted to say a big thanks for all the help and advice on this... Today I took delivery of a brand spanking new HW97K with Hawke Nite Eye Scope..... To say I am pleased with it is an understatement!!!

I'd also agree with this, wouldnt put any else on my American Bulldog but Aaron's stuff..... its top quality!

I've got a Crosman AS392 and its a cracking little plinking gun........... When it works!! Either the C02 cartridges discharge themselves on installation or after a few shots.... Thats still after all the seals have been replaced. Only thing I havent tried is using Crosman branded AS cylinders as I read on an American site thats what has to be used and I cant find much info on them from a UK point of view. This may just be my experience with one gun, but based on that, I wouldnt recomend them!

Hahahah Thanks lads!.............. Its sure made for some good reading over the last few days, certainly helped me narrow my choices down. Just need to wait for the weekend now so I can get out and get hands on before parting with some wedge!!

Morning All! Just wanted to say a quick hello after being reading and lurking for a while! I'm looking to get back into a bit of Air Gun shooting/hunting after not picking up a gun for around 15 year or so! Used to do quite a bit as a kid with my old man and now the bug has returned. I'll mainly be nosing around and reading as much info as I can to get me underway again... Just going through the gun reviews and I am spoilt for choice!!! Cracking site!! Cheers Ian
