Lets get this right if i take out a digging terrier tomorrow enter him into an earth with more than one eye to it and the fox bolts ,then that makes my terrier a failed digging dog, Eh. And he enters a one eye earth and he is dug to he is the dogs bollocks. lol.

Thing is, now you've started her and she's loving it, it would be almost cruel to stop her (and i know that from experience sadly!!!). Hold off a new one, forget about her age and have a fecking good time over the next few years!

More than likely the bitch is hurting somewere maybe pain inside the chest or heart, living indoors would make no difference at all to a working lurcher, in my opinion.

Yes I fully agree they are handy, as long as they're not bred from then there's no problem.

I could if I wanted, this job is so cushy. Theres so much down time due to red tape.. Ive gone for the job permanently. I could nip home for a biff and walk the dogs and still be back onsite with time to spare..
lucky sod! job and lunch, head down arse up everyday day for some,,, crisp butties and a banana for me. Roll on saturday and a bit of fishing yeeeha.

I used to have terriers for ferreting and never lost a ferret but they were educated as pups which is the important bit.
This chap was 110% with ferrets and really new the ferreting game what I would give for him now. He got nipped by the ferret as a pup and once or twice as he got older and never retaliated and he was a very game terrier on fox as well so no coward.
But if he was in a tight spot in a hedge and the ferret came out by him he leapt over the ferret or what ever he had to do to get out the way.
So in my opinion a terrier makes great ferret dog and once they get scent of a rabbit they basically follow it through any cover till it goes to ground so apart from the odd crafty rabbit you won't miss many. As long as you are using nets obviously

yes very a good solid bayer all ways saw the job out. A tad on the big side but all ways managed to get there
