  2. Most dogs will kill rats-missis had englishbullxcollie i would take out when i walked the terriers-she caught her first rat at neally 12yr old-she f****n loved it-poor f****r died of stomach tumor last august-just get out where theres rats and the dog will wig on.when i was a kid i would go to local allotments and lift up all old sheeting/bags and fill my boots-my mate had a plummer-3yr old spayed family pet-gave her a rat and she never looked back-this little bitch could be dug 50+ a year on whatever and he had 3 good seasons out of her before she expired doing the job SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN BRED FOR-R.I.P Pip-get him out there and give him abit.atb mukka
  3. I use a lurcher for catching, marking rabbits-have never ever incouraged any of my terriers to work, show interest in rabbits-a terrier that hunts rabbit is no good in my eyes-wasted time looking, digging too lost terriers-not worth the f****n hassle-how do you stop your dog from leaving the fox and f****n off to get stuck on a rabbit?-catch more rabbits with a ferret/lurcher in my eyes-hunting rabbits with a terrier is a surefire way to losing the dog. These are my views-my views only-i do know a few lads with terriers they use on rabbit-but its hard enough keeping track of a terrier without it flying to ground every 5 mins to rabbit-i like my rabbits to come back in 1 piece  never seen a softmouthed terrier :D atb

  4. me being a keeper i doant class it as spor its all part of the job so i hope you can see where im coming from

you being a keeper should know that its illegal to draw a fox from an earth, espeially if its a job you atb

No where in the law does it say you can't handle a fox,all it says is it has to be shot as soon as possible once dug to.You've dug a fox out of concrete or rocky ground and a shot would endanger yourself(richoshay??),what do you do?.handle it,draw it out, drop it down then bang, all legal or just let it go?.

3rd rib down in with the blade just as quick as gun

  5. when i dig to my black dog the quarry is normally expired-and if not-i have no problem letting them go to fight anotherday-i never ever let my terriers rag anything above ground dead or alive-their job is to work UNDERGROUND and when i break through they are lifted and put back on the couples-i have no problem with a draw dog on a dig-so long as my f****n terriers are as far away from it as possible as i have seen 1 or 2 grab the terrier and let the fox get away.lol ;) each man to his own.

  6. Had black-black and white-ginger and a few weekes ago tewksbury way-netted bury and had 7 blue rabbits-5 of which were only half grown drummers-i shouldnt have-but i bought a few back home and let them go local-and all the big uns had 1 hell of a fat layer on them.

  7. dont belive the hype-OUR PROPANE SMOKERS HELP RATS BOLT-THE FUCKERS THAT DONT BOLT-BACK UP THE TUBES-SOMETIMES 10 DRUGGED UP RATS-DOGS MARK-PUT IN THE SPADE AND TURN IT OVER-THEY SPEW OUT AND GET SMASHED BY THE DOGS-2-3 RATS IN THE DOGS MOUTHS AT A TIME-f****n ONE OF THE BEST WAYS OF CONTROLLING RATS-DONT TRUST MY FELLS WITH A FERRET IN THE MIDDLE OF A RAT HUNT  ATB

  8. Bumped into a guy few years back when out having a mooch with my fells and my mates plummer x-had with him a female goshawk-brittany spaniel-a little westhighland terrier-stopped and had a chat -put our dogs on the couples-and had a smoke-the little westie was bushing a hedgerow and marked a little 3 hole rabbit warren-we sat there and watched as the westy went to ground-and started to bay-rolling about pissing ourselves-the guy said watch now-a f****n big red charlie shot out of the ground and flew across the field-followed by said westy-that is the truth-solong as i have a hole in my arse-believe or not-may of been a one off but the guy said it was not the first time-i will be sticking to my fells- ;) has anyone else ever seen anything as strange as that?i promise this is not a wind up.merry xmas lads atb bob

  9. ive had patts that could kill foxes to ground , so there no disbelief in a whippet having ago but huntings not a wresling match in out kill the game and move on , ive stuck to that method of hunting no contest , cant beassed with all this whippet takes foxes so does lots of small patts lakies but , its not something, that i would go on about hunting game you use a dog thta suits the game , not a contest or a death struggle thats not whats poaching hunting is about in my eyes ,
