(bad sense of humor) iv been fishin, ferreting and shooting since i was a young lad and our sport is under theat by people that persist in brakeing the law goin for badgers. Just shoot them if they need culled our sport goes even more under theat every time shit like this happens coz society sees us all in the same boat. sorry about twisted statement.

Hunting badgers is wrong never mind with dogs. the idiots only got 6 months in jail i would have skinned them live then put them in the stocks. i didnt no how many people go for badgers but there is quite a few on here that are ok with it its a good job they dont have there addresses on here coz id be thinkin of hunting them meself.

Has any one else come across any baby rabbits yet? i bolted one yesterday it looked two weeks old its abit early like.

Thats great moll. Only problem is my girlfriend aint to happy about me goin out for the day with a girl she has never met she is a bit paranoid . She has'nt been out ferretin with me yet so ill ask her if she wants to come with us if we go to keep her mind at ease.

Alright folks. I live in wooler. Anyone want a day out ferreting with me i could do with a hand as there is a steep bank on the caravan site i work at with lots of holes big warrens so it would be handy to have someone with me with a dog or more nets as iv only got 20 purse nets. Iv got four ferrets but ill probs be takin 2 out but if your bringin your ferrets ill just take one of mine.

Put my polecat jill down a three hole warren today and she backed out thirty seconds later tail all fluffed followed by a stoat which leaped a foot in the air and shot down one of the other holes in the same warren. The stoat beat me to it iv been watchin the warren for two weeks and there was fresh signs of digging there yesterday.

we get £1 a rabbit from our game dealer in wooler northumberland and its £5 a hair.

Alright folks one of my jills is blind in one eye will this make her more prone to rabbit punches and skratches? as i dont want her to blinded in the other eye. thanks mike.

I do 11, 13, 15, then 16 rows of 15 meshes then 13, 11.

i had two jills a year old which had never been handled. they used two latch on the only way i stopped them biting was when they bit i would put them in the ferret carry box for five minutes no longer because they forget why they are being punnished they soon learn that biting gets them nowhere. nose flicking or nipping only works with kits.
