My neighbours dogs have been aggressive towards my sheep on several occasions, and I have caught the neighbour encouraging the dogs onto my land - ongoing neighbourhood dispute over a right of way. I wrote to them a registered letter stating that IF their dogs were found in my sheep field I would shoot them. ( Shotgun cert only ) This was after checking with my local FAO who said I should warn them of the risks their dogs had of being shot. I have used them. I found them to be similar to the 50gm 3's. I dont rate them for distance, and I first thought they were steel shot as they did not carry as well as I thought they should. I really like the Solway 50gm BB shot for foxes. This is my preferred cartridge now. The mammoth 63gm is reserved for the first 'scattergun' shot into a flock of pigeons during harvest, you get three or four for your shot.
