    Thank's, it seems he is only like that when ferreting, he gets to worked up and can not calm down no matter what, but the one thing you wan't when ferreting is to try be as quite as possible!

    Hi, im looking for any advice, all is welcome. I have a great little worker, he's a fox terrior part jack russel, he will hunt for any thing, fox, squirrel, rats, but he is a controlled dog, and will only attack on command, just lately he is getting very good at stalking squirrels, he will sit next to you, not make a sound or even move until commanded to, but when we are ferreting we leave him off he's lead, net up and put the ferret's down, he will just sit and screech for age's, he it too keyed up, is there any way to try calm him down so he will sit and wait for a bolter, or is this natura

Im new to all this so don't really know what to buy. Can some one look on there and reccomend any thing to me? Must cost no more then £300 and be a sping rifle, preferabley a 2.2 Hope some one can help/ thanks!

    Yeah both waterbottles was half full before i re-filled them mate? The meat was off cuts, liver, mince ect Hey mate funny you should say that this happens to my mates ferret as well he foams from the mouth when he goes in his traveling box, but it;s not travel sickness he has because when we put him in a bigger box (cat box) hes fine, but any thing smaller he foams from the mouth like yours, i think my mates is chlostrophobic? a chlostrophobic ferret what a nightmare!!!! that'd be like having a hawk that's scared of heights!!! :laugh: wierd one about your ferret then bu

    Hi, my ferret was spaced out, laid out side in the sun, when all of the sudden he got up and started gerking, turns out he was been sick, loads off water and fluid kept bursting out of his mouth, i took him out of the cage and put him in the spare one while i cleaned it, i put fresh food in and filled his waterbottles when i put him back in his cage he drank from his waterbottle for around 10mins none stop, eat some food and then seemed ok, i think he got de-hydrated in the warm weather, either that or he just wasn't very well, the last thing he eat before been ill was meat from butchers what

    Thanks bud and don't mind removeing the odd one or 2 every now or then but when it's as bad he has got i dont like it! I Have this fle and tick tratement for ferret iv applied that on him as well will just see how he goes
