  1. P.s my sandy Jill climbed a 3ft ship lap deviding wall today . Her kit was being held by its new owner to be, and mum was determined to return it to the nest . reason and practice.
  2. I agree . You train a ferret kit from the first time you handle it from the nest . A ferret bombarded with stimulation will be a more rounded confident ferret , and ultimately a greater worker . People used to say to me many years ago .ferrets can't climb . Maybe that was true of the fetters kept in single storey over crowded hutches. But a ferret kit raised in a multi level out door court . Give time reason and opportunity to certainly Will . And that confident climbing ferret is all the more likely to climb up to that rabbit sat On a ledge just out of reach.   3. Good looking dogs. What's the pups breeding. V handsome.
  4. My dog sliced it in half bout 3 monthsago . Thought it might need stich . Bathed it dayly in salt water . Healed up ok . Hard to see the cut mark now. Was touch and go though at the time was thinking a visit to the vet. But after some time on the net . Was ready to let it heal . Amazing how well it has healed . And quickly .
  5. Hi lads . Am a newby member to this site . Got a beddy x whippet 1st cross bitch : will be 3 in Sep. Catches ok on the lamp . Ferrets ok . Am happy enough with her . She is my only dog . And lives in house . Sleeps on my bed. Thing is I hunt 4 the pot . Never out for big bags . So would much prefer my rabbit Not crunched to a pulp . Hard Mouthed ?? !! . If left with her catch she might retrieve it but only when its dead . Very DEAD. THING is she loves the retrieve game ,balls sticks rabbit skin dummy. she loves a small plastic bottle 1/4 filled with pebbles . she will retrieve all these to han
