  1. You're quite save Snuff.[spelling] Ooopps! Should have be "safe". Ha! But I'm sure he'll get my drift. Magdon, I must say that your a bit of a wag when it comes to the replying lark. I do hope its all a little tongue in cheek. Wag... one can but try. I've always felt it best to have ones tongue firmly in ones in cheek. Rather than have ones to lips on some elses butt. Both might cause one to mumble, but the former leave a far better taste in ones mouth when you decide to call it quits. Quite so

  4. Can you tell me more about this calling lark? I take it you need a natty piece of equipment for that. I take it Stu is Caprelous, would I be correct in my assumption? You would be correct . PM me and I will try to sort something out for you. As I would need to travel up to meet you or to get my friend who lives locally in Dumfries to meet you and take you out. Re calling and sophisticated equipment to call not really some guys can call them with a blade of grass, something I have yet to personally master there are numerous calls on the market but the easiest to use is a Butaloe cal

Magdon has given me one website address in the south but it would be such an adventure to fly up and hunt. yes a couple, thanks for the pm we can maybe sort something out. is it helicopter or light plane?? Well I have a plane but my chum has a helicopter so which ever is best. And I maybe in a position to visit your friend caprelous if hes not too far away. I dont know what else to do as you have all made me so welcome on your site. I must consider all the options.

  13. Stu The Latin lesson was unnecessary. I am fully cognisant with the various definition of terminus. Actually it comes first from the Greek word termon meaning boundary. Personally I prefer the following definition. terminus - the ultimate goal for which something is done, goal- the state of affairs that a plan is intended to achieve and that (when achieved) terminates behavior intended to achieve it; "the ends justify the means" Caprelous is in fact correct in his definition. You see Terminus is the Roman god of boundaries thus boundry or boundry stone are the correct d
  14. Where abouts in the UK are you? There are plenty of good stalkers both full time and part time who'll sell you an opportunity to try your hand at the game, show you what to do and provide you will a rifle to do the necessary. Best advice would be to shop around and see who's nearest and then discuss it with them. No need to get ripped off over prices either. There's bound to be some good deals available later in the buck season. As well as for the doe cull. That would be of interest. What about the meat, could I keep some do you think?

  16. When you come across one take a photo of it and sell it you will make a fortune from it. Get yoursen booked in with someone like John who will take you out . That maybe a good option but quite a drive, I could fly up.
