I am thinking of applying for an FAC and SGC soon but I am under 18 so I cannot buy my own ammo or rifles/shotguns. As none of my parents hold a certificate can they buy the gun or ammo for me and then register it on my certificate or does someone with a certificate have to buy them for me. Also does this apply to private sales or just guns bought from a RFD. P.S. Is it true that all certificates in scotland are open? J

Hi everyone. Im 15 and hoping to get an air rifle soon, and after learning the basics with that I would like to get an F.A.C. Eventually I would like to become a keeper. Just wondering, is there anyone in the edinburgh who has a permission that they could take me out on and show me the basic. P.M. me if so. Regards Katmanen
