  1. Ballisticly (is that a word) there is no difference between a 24 and 34 inch barreled gun with the same choke as the great Gough Thomas would tell you. It's all about the balance and what suits you
  2. I've suffered this problem as well and have had mixed results with putting meth soaked cotton wads down the barrel prior to shooting to eat the oil away which many believe is what causes cleaned rifles to lose their zero for up to 5 shots. cheers Callum How far out would yours go at 100 yards
  3. My .17 is ok after a clean, the rabbits and corvids don't think so though.!!!! I would like to know the reason for poor accuracy after a clean
  4. I have one, very nice bit of kit, but it is only as good as the scope you are using. Tried it on some cheap glass and it was very disappointing but used it with a better scope and it is awesome
  5. Hi, I know I shouldn't answer a question with a question but how often would you clean a .22, Hornet, .17REM etc, etc etc, after every time you use it of course. I can't understand the opinion that one should leave it for 10 or 20 or however many shots. A clean barrel will last a lot longer than a dirty one and a non pitted barrel should be more accurate than a pitted one. I use a bore snake after each outing on the .17s because I believe it's more important to look after the condition of the rifling in the barrel.
