  1. They might be a good idea when you're turned down (and you will be !) - " I'll leave you a card for future references......." kind of thing.

I've only ever had this work once, when one of my 'customers' passed my number on to a friend of theirs. Don't expect the phone to ring off the hook, but what harm can it do ?

Keep it simple - name, phone number, email (if you like) and a BRIEF description of your services.

    I'll

    Good luck !

I'll be happy with one perm of 50 doors nocked. Or some think like that. Ha I was thinking keep the card simple. Don't no weather to put on that its for ferreting rabbit or just rabbit control what you think ?
  2. Only luck I've ever had with permission is with being introduced or knowing the farmer or their mate in some way!

Getting permission off a random landowner you don't know from Adam has never happened to me.

To prove point I've even been turned down by a farmer then ended up buying barley off him to feed a flight pond elsewhere, after buying off him a few times I asked for shooting and he said yer no problem!

yea I have perm by poaching and after a chat got perm only problem is it's all low land and with the rain and floods I didn't get much ferreting done so going to go and ask about hopefully get lucky with some new ferreting perm on higher ground. But most farms I have gone to no ones home so thought I'd try leaving a card and maybe just maybe they get back to me.
  3. Planning on doing some cards to hand out when am nocking doors for perm. Never done this before normally just talk to them but thought if I have no answer at the door I could leave my card. Only thing is am shit with stuff like this so if anyone got any ideas on what I should write on cards would be a great help.

  4. Just type in hik9 raised dog bed into google they will come up atb

thanks Matt just talking to collieman now about it don't think am going to bother with one as a don't think there be enough room for raised bed and lurcher in a cage. I'm going to order some of that vet bed though and see how that goes ?
  5.

Matt I was joking about muzzle and shit. Have you got a link for the raised bed or are they on eBay as well ? Would it fit in a large crate? I have him in a large crate so will get vetbed in there. will have a look on eBay now for vet bed also.just sick of spending money on shitty dog beds that get ripped to bits in few days thanks

If you are still looking for a raised dog bed I have one it is called a coolaroo you can get them from vet uk in different sizes.

I have one in the kennel dogs like it it is a bit chewed at the corners but a bit of aluminium strip screwed on would stop that.

great offer thanks mate pmd you bud
  6. Fuuck that it's my rug  cnut can sleep on the tiles for all I care amount of destruction he's done. I'd need to employ PWC to work out how much has cost me

He has his space and free reign of the gaff (except kitchen and bedroom) I buy him really comfy beds and he waits for a few weeks then twats them to pieces

must be his way of telling you he wants a new one ? I mines going to have to start paying board before long as he's skinting the feek out off me
  7. I've given up with this cnut

Everytime I buy him a new bed he fuucks it up and ends up sleeping on the rug for the next few weeks  strange that the b*****d destroys everything except that rug

. Funny you say that because mine don't touch the rug either. I'd try putting that in his cage if it wasn't to big

My 2year old lurcher keeps ripping his dog bed to bits anyone no how I can stop this as its starting to cost me a small fortune in new dog beds that don't last a few days. He lives in the house so straw is out of the question as it gets everywhere. He never used to bother when he was younger but past couple months he seems to love ripping up his bed ??

I owned one like that, destroyed everything she laid on,i went to a game show and looked at some of the indestructible beds on show and challenged a vendor of these to let my lass have 10 minutes with one in a confined environment, she tore an hole in it in less than 4 minutes,i spent £2 on some pliers, yanked her teeth out and have never had a problem since.
think I will save the 2qid cos I'm a tight arse and lend your pliers then mate
