Aye up all
Iv got a 6 1/2 month old springer pup. And he has trouble putting weight on so he always looks slightly on the slim side. I'm feeding him on puppy food at the moment cos anything else seems to just go through him. Anyone else had this problem?

I'm looking at getting a springer for rabbiting. I need a good marking dog that looks professional for taking to large estates with plenty of energy. I looked at lurchers but I think they can be abit hit and miss and like said on previous posts they can attract unwanted attention.

Sort of prefer spaniels but I want a dog for the job. They are a investment that lasts about 12 years so I want the right one. Looks like a beddy whip it is.

I'm after ferreting partner/ marker and ratter. Not bothered so much about using the dog on the lamp. Iv was told that a 1st cross would be more suitable? any advice would be great. Don't want to end up with the wrong dog.

Aye up all.
I'm after a dog for general pest control. (I work in pest control for a career and a hobby) and I want a ratter and a rabbit marker. I'm not a terrier fan really so I thought about a whippet bedlington.?I prefer the rough haired look to smooth haired. Any thoughts on what dog to get?
Iv had labs before but am completely new to lurchers so please forgive my ignorance.
Thanks and have a very merry Christmas.

I'm working all kinds of terrain, it's tha nature of my job. I would be properly working it maybe a few times a week. It would also be able to wander around farms an estates with me. So I want this dog to live the life a lurcher should.
