  15. "Water levels are high on the River Moy with only some fish reported. Rising water levels have hampered angling efforts on the Moy in recent days. However, the East Mayo Anglers Association water produced two salmon for the week. The first spring fish of the season retained on the Association’s water was caught by Mark Kirwan, Co. Kildare, and weighed 8 lbs. Swinford anger Gerry Hegarty took the second of the week on the Association’s waters, a fine fish of 12.5 lbs. Water levels on the lower Moy are high at present and are expected to rise further in coming days. Bryan Ward" nia
