In the event of getting some kind of 'ning' in return you are unfortunately wrong. I 'have' lost the drive to shoot.....years back its all i wanted to do, at every opportunity but now i can i really cant be bothered. Would i like to shoot the highest bird of the day infront of the guns and beaters or would i like to get a nice long hard retreive with my dog...its the latter i'm afraid. You may be right a shooter will always be a shooter and i'll never give my guns up because i will fancy that wee walk with the guns to pop the odd pigeon or woodcock. I will tell what makes you feel old, can't remember the year but it was the year they were gonna rip up our old pitch and we took my pals little brother to the last game of the season, the north bank was absolutely rocking that day and the north rushed forward onto the pitch with about 10 seconds left on the clock......everyone started chanting off, off, off.....so we all backed up to the by line......a few more seconds and ref thought " f**k it" and blew the whistle anyway. That was it, we were on all getting our bit of the pitch and a lad come up to me and said grab this end of a banner

No, I'm not.....I went to one game after they made it all seater and that was enough for me, never again......it's just not the same as standing. But that said, now my little lad is 5 it's all change again and I can appreciate it being all seater......so times change and I will start to take him to a few kids for quid games to see if he gets the bug.......I couldn't be bothered either way, it's my club but my times at the ground are now just fond memories of crazy days and a group of young lads doing what yo
