Yeah matie..I was using a -400mm excellent quality, but just a little slow..I also have a 70-300mm but rarely use it..This 300mm is one of the sharpest lenses Ive used, with or with out the tc Definately is crystal clear. I use a sigma lense 70-200mm f2.8 with a 1.4x converter. Was thinking of getting a fixed lens about a 300mm. Do you need to use a tripod with it mate?
