Anyone got info on dates and are they open to public my little brothers back from oz first time in 5 years and trying to make the most of it and get some things talked of the list maybe another 5 years before we get the chance again

The championship is being held in Nava del rey, Valladolid, January 2024. Don’t think the exact dates have been released yet. I’ll be taking a drive up there myself. There will be the eights, quater finals, semi’s and then the finals. if you get to the eights or quarters there will be more dogs running so will get to see more runs. It’s a good day out, free entry, big beer tent

She looking well mate, what’s she like. Mine is as keen as fcuk, clever as f**k, likes to do stuff her own way sometimes but still gets it’s done, easy to live with an a doddle to have out an about, perfect with kids an folk, but hyper with strange dogs for a minute or 2 until she settles, an same on lamp, she needs a run or 2 to settle down and get into her stride but once she does she like clock work an can go as long as I can, an ferreting is where she comes into her own, het nose is spot on an her focus an patience is getting better with every warren, I’d have another if they all like this ?

Sounds similar to mine, although I’ve not done as much with her as I’d hoped, had her out with some podenco packs and she is nervy at first but is ok once there’s a bit of action she starts to relax, she’s been reared on a remote farm and with Covid regulations out here as well, as a pup she didn’t get to see many other dogs so more down to that I think. Great nose marked warrens from the first time she went ferreting, and is always flat out finding and flushing partridge, great for the type of ground here, it’s rough and she’s never had a single problem with her feet

My mate is. He’s asked me to find a dog to use, he’s got the Kelpie. Wants a pup out of her for himself for mooching and general hunting about, etc.

Im thinking a real racey Lurcher with a little drop of bull to sort out any silliness.

If it went over a racey lurcher with a bit of bull in I’d have one, I like my Kelpie that I got off jigsaw have gelled with her really well.

If you want to run dogs then Castilla de mancha is the area. But it's hot, dry and in winter it'll hit -3 and feel shit. It's the local climate but it doesn't feel like Blighty -3 with the rain and humidity. The south is pretty much sun all year and it's also where the wankers congregate. So if thy mrs wants to watch people snorting a line on the bar... that's the place ? The south is great just stay away from the main cities and towns and don't get pulled into the expat shoite. Learn the language, make local friends and you'll be at home.

-3, I wish ?, I’m in Castile-La Mancha, near Albacete, the national galgo coursing finals are sometimes held at albacete

Yes, her sire was a bedlington, dam was a Dave platts deerhound greyhound, she was my first lurcher and the only one I’ve seen bred like that, she has been a good little ferreting and lamping dog
