  1. I dont have balls as I am a woman...

I did a mistake by thinking that you were gentlemen enough to understand my point, and also clever enough but when I read your last comments, I understand that I just lost my time, and have nothing to do on this thread anymore.

Well sirs (If I can still call you like that)

Have a nice day, and please continue to make you look like fools and continue like that. At least even if those stories are not my buisness, buy reading your posts, your comments and the way you treat a woman on a board, I know to who I am talking to and for sure you are not my kind of man, and will never be....

  2. yes this is an open board, and this allows me also to say that you guys are pathetic to get into private life and compare people to hitler.

Now if you don't want to see that it is your issue not mine.

But can you please then explain to me, what does this sentence and Hitler have to do with dogs, hunting and the thread?????

Please argue, I am open to read, on an open board lol....

Do you really need this to be taken seriously? if yes then I don't need to go deeper in the conversation, I have my opinion all made and no need to know you better...

  3. Lol no I didn't get a puppy from him I am not into patterdales at all.

I am not trying to defend him as I think he doesn't need me for that. Actually I didn't say anything about your drama stories. You know, in all breeds, all sports, you have many many stories, and I still laugh a lot when I read some (dont say that I laugh a lot by reading this one) but most of the time it is only childish or too much testosterone lol. A lot of people think that their dogs is their virility extension and this makes me laugh a lot.

Here this was not the point, here it makes me sick to see a man compared to Hitler and it could be you or any other man, I think no one deserves to be compared to Hitler just for a dog story, sorry guys but at the end it is ONLY a dog story! This is really going too far, and I feel so sorry for you guys to go that far and that deep. If you really think you tell the truth about him and the dogs then you shouldn't need to go on private stories just to be sure that people trust you and think you are a serious man. Actually it is the opposite for me. Maybe he is telling the truth, but man with this kind of sentences I can't take that man seriouslty, it is impossible, and the only thing that comes in my mind is, wow this man for sure is not the kind of man I want to know better and exchange with...

Hitler and private stories should not be on that board and on that thread, if you need this then you are not a man for sure...

And con't care about who did start first, are you guys children or what?

  4. no wonder his first wife fckud off with a 60yr old bloke cos booth couldnt manage to ride her properly!!

    Pathetic excuse of a man.

This has nothing to do with dogs, this is really pathetic, and this really makes me sick!

Really when I read this, I don't have to go too far, to make my opinion on what kind of man can write this on a Hunting board.

    This is really small, pathetic....

The rest of the thread, all the stories around dogs, is one thing, actually it is only stories around dogs! And I really don't care about it, but I had to make a comment on this sentence, it makes me really sad for you guys, to go that deep and that far just for a dog story...

And compare him to Hitler, WOW, AMAZING, I guess you are not old enough to understand what you just wrote... I am voiceless...

  5. This is only the difference btwn a terrierman and a hunter... To answer to the question a hunter will not need a hard dog or will think it is useless as he wants to hunt everyday. A terrierman is not really into hunting purpose but more into working his dogs and have fun with them. He will like the hard one and will enjoy to have a big heart dog at his home...

And like said someone else with no hard dog you loose working dogs at the end. It is also usefull to many reasons but don't have the english words to explain sorry.

  6. Bit off topic maybe but Foxfan, the no woman near a working terrier thing you mention: I'm a (fat, old) woman and I do 50 or more hunting days a year with my terriers to wild boar, red deer, fox and badger, I dig and handle the game myself. This includes boar with the knife.

Not many women into the real thing, but I'm not into making money with my terriers either, threw the official papers out the window some years ago, so now my dogs are worth f**k all to those I don't want them with anyway.

I only breed for myself and have even culled healthy pups because I had not enough working homes for them, rather that than they end up as a pet, become frustrated, become a nuisance and be put down later yet.

A good working terrier is not suitable to be a pet I believe, they are hungry for hunting and even the quiet types will do weird things in the end.

All my respect then.. Hope to follow your way. :)

And I have to agree on each word you say, this is also my point of view.

Would be nice to meet you one day.

  7. Again it depends where you want to live and go. Some regions are more strict and some not. You have to be very friendly with the hunting guys around your house and town, invite them to have a nice dinner and of course with a nice wine, participate to some hunting partys and so on...

But I red somewhere that you want to go close to Bergerac then I am sure you will find some ex pat close to you to help you finding the right people ;)

French people like good food and good wine especially in the south if you are open friendly and you try to participate to the life of your community it should be ok then ;)

  8. Hello

Where are you going in France?

If you want to dig the fox, it is easy to find a good digging team and here it is allow to dig the fox during the whole year they are too many.

Regarding the badger it depends where you want to go and when, some regions are full of badgers and some not. The hunting season is normally from may to september but can end to january sometimes.

According to terrier men already based in France, it is heaven for hunting badgers.

And a part from the region and the season, there is no restrictions but the best is to know already the people who dig in the region you are going.

    Welcome to france.

  9. yeah you can have both, but 'athletic staff' people who just focus on A-frame comps etc have no concept of what heart means.

I think thats a bit of a broad generalisation, i know a lot of guys involved in the Athletic side of things, they are more than clued up on what "heart" means, just choose to channel their dogs enthusiasm into Athletic pursuits.

There will undoubtably be people involved in the Athletic stuff that are 100% focused on looks and as you say the dogs performance over an A frame. However there is also the boys that have been there and done it, and now choose to have a bit of fun with their staffords, causing no harm to anyone else.

Here there is a big difference between a sporting dog and a working dog and for sure those people don't know what is the difference.

I saw a lot of those dogs in sporting shows and they were good, and those good dogs were tested on boars, and for sure even if they could growl very loudly, they do not have big heart at all and if the boar charge them they will keep their distance!

  10. I'd take a fat bug eyed overweight staff with heart over an 'athletic staff' with none.

yeah you can have both, but 'athletic staff' people who just focus on A-frame comps etc have no concept of what heart means.

Have to agree on that statement.

Someone said "in Holland they have good staffords". Good for what? Good because they sprint faster, they climb higher?

Those people tried to change the stafford into a sort of mini apbt, but they forgot the most important, the working abilities, the heart!

They didn't even understand what is a real apbt, for sure not a conformation dog, and for sure not a sportive athlete at first, but a big heart dog as the patterdale is and how do you show this ability? On working them.

They also think that a growling dog on a leash is a hell temperament dog lol lol lol, what a bunch of clowns!

  11.

What really grates on me is these staffs that are bred for " longer legs " to be " more athletic "......then they are put in super duper fit condition to stand in a show ring at an athletic dogs show and get a rossette....no different to the little fatties at crufts !

Just like the apbt these days mate,95% of staffs are good for nothing......just the 5% of good apbt,s are a hell of a lot more dog than the 5% of good staffs.

    So true !

  12. WTF is that trash thread lol

Please people get a life for godsake! Don't you have anything more interesting to do in the real life? like HUNTING I mean REAL HUNTING, not pretending HUNTING on internet.

I am not in the hunting since a long time but boy, it seems that many people don't really know what they are talking about.

Jon you worth better than that don't even reply to this, don't loose your time. Believe me it is all the same everywere (jaleous people, people who don't have a life, internet pretenders or those who know everything about everything but never seen anything lol...). When I have time to loose I come to those internet life people with popcorn and have a lot of fun reading them, but that's it, only entertaiment, nothing more nothing less.

Take care you and your family

    Your friend
