    Don't get me wrong, I love the looks and athletic side of a saluki. I just think that a saluki x would be too tall for what I want. And maybe need a lot more exercise to keep top notch?

    On the Market for a lurcher but as it's my first one was looking for some advise. I alway thought I just wanted a beddyx whippet, nice and small to fit in tractor, good for ferreting and on my main quarry rabbits. But recently I have been thinking I would like something bigger like a beddy x grey, just for the stamina in the bigger fields we have around here. And maybe something with some collie in it. I need something which Is small enough to be a nice companion dog but bold enough to match the performance of the deerhoundxs I go out with. And tough enough to be out and about fencin

    I was wondering if anyone wanted to share there experience of rescuing a dog (of any breed). As a dog lover, and as most people into country sports are dog lovers, I though we could get some positive stories, some negative stories and some advice collected on rescuing a dog. I'm not here to slate anyone who has had to let a dog go to a new home or a kennel, there are many reasons why this may happen and they are personal stories, different to everyone.     Hello all, just got my self a couple kits which hopefully will be ready for a bit of sport in the back end of the winter. I have been looking through this site and this may sound a stupid question to a regular ferreter, but what is the difference mk1, mk2 and mk3 locators?     I agree with above. It won't store over the season, it has to be dryed for that. But it will make good scattering about stuff for now. Have a good season. Atb
