  1. Don't know if any lads on here may have lost a blue bitch? The place was closing and it was dark so didn't have a great look, but it was a bitch that they put at 5 months old and had been picked up as a stray. The asking price was £200. I have put this post on here in case anyone has lost one.
  2. Any dogs out there (any failed/injured lamp dogs that would make a good pet?)
  3. That could be a really ideal dog for someone else!
  4. Definitely will pay if the dog is right
  5. A good deal of the dogs on lurcher link have been gifted in when owners could no longer care for them, or they could no longer work etc. And alot of the dogs are in foster care for a good length of time, so they can tell you the dogs habits inside out. There is a lovely pet rough patterdale terrier bitch on there at the mo. MOLL. Thanks MOLL. (I do look on there every week) The bitch you mentioned wont suit as I want: a smooth coated, dog, that is steady. The write up on the site is the opposite of what I want.
  6. Live in the NW of England near Bolton
  7. Been on the lurcherlink site a load of times. I want to get a dog that someone has owned for a while and who will tell me the truth about the dog-its habits etc, and in return will know it will go to a good home. Thanks
  8. Thanks anyway, but want an older dog
  9. If anyone has or knows of any can you please PM me. Ideal would be short coated and dark in colour and under 23in. The dog is for a man who works part time and wants a companion for walks, bike rides and general pottering around. I think most dogs would be considered that are steady, clever, not hunting crazy and are safe around kids. The dog would have a good home and would be in the house if it is house trained, or in a kennel at nights if it was used to that. Any good older dogs out there (preferrable under 5 - not bitches) Thanks (kennels not an option as one is wanted
  10. Been looking for ages... dont want a pup and will wait for the right dog?! Yes I have tried friends, lurcherlink, forums, loot, adtrader, classifieds etc etc I know I am being fussy but I want a dog where I know the history of it. I have had no offers of any small dogs.
  11. Kennel Trained: Doesn't yap in a kennel. Could have written that but waited for a smart ars* answer instead!
  12. Had a few PM's with dogs over 22". Anone got anything smaller? Thanks
  13. Bump.....Nothing out there?
  14. Anyone got an older dog (not bitch) for sale: Small, dark coated, must be steady, house or kennel trained, good with kids and other animals. Will be given a good permanent family home. Price not a problem. PM me with details. (Lurcher or Bedlington preferred) Thanks
  15. Has anyone got an older dog (not bitch) that they have finshed with or isn't good enough? The dog would ideally be small, dark colour, intelligent, house trained, good with kids and will get a good experienced home in the North West of England. It will be a family pet and go for walks, bike rides and will live inside. I have tried dog ads, kennels, etc but I want a dog where I know the history. PM me with any details of any dogs. Anything genuine I would like a trial. Money not a problem for the right dog. Many Thanks
  16. Don't want one from a dog home - how do people who work in dogs homes know what the dogs are like, some are only there for a few days and the people at the kennels wouldn't know anything about the dog! I was asking on this forum for lurchers (as I want a lurcher) that may not suit what you lads want anymore - Too old, not fast enough, divorce, space wanted for new pup, etc. If there are none, it doesn't matter - This is a Classified Forum - I thought it was the best place to ask.
  17. well mate what kind of hunting ar you planing to do if you dont want a dog that doesnt bother cats?? iv kept all sorts of dogs and its down to if the neighbours cats stupid enough to come into your garden :11: I agree with you - Can't stand cats, but dont want aggravation I am looking for a quiter companion type of dog
  18. Had a few replies but nothing that really fits the bill yet! Small, dog, used to being kennelled, clever, not mad for hunting (neighbours have cats - dont want/need aggravation). (Many thanks to lads who have replied)
  19. Anyone know of any for sale? No Pups. Would prefer an older dog, used to being kennelled, good with kids, good off a lead. Prefer brains to speed. A contented dog. It will be a family pet, bit of working, plenty of walking and biking. Perhaps one that is bad retriever, too old, splitting up, too many dogs etc. No sarcasm – Thanks lads. PM with any details or phone numbers.
