how young can u start to work a jack russel on rats

My 1st border/russell dog,and got border bitch.dog is steady but bitch loves owt.il go either border or border/lakie dog nxt time.them black uns get 2 bashed up for me but are game as.just my opinion tho. -
ok cheers.i work all day and 3 year old and 11 year old lads at home didnt help things but accidents happen tho.and if it was for the readies i would of used a good border dog,instead they will be 3/4 border russell so aint worth a shilling really.i have been adding cooked chicken breast to her late feed for few weeks but like i said i aint too clued up so wanted to check if i could improve her diet at all.thanks for replys people. Give the chicken raw mate ok ive never give raw or chicken carcass's will she shite with the raw?shes in kitchen on night with weather been bit harsh.

ok thank you.i will try her on a bit of steak see how she gets on with it.she will be 18 months when she drops,managed to keep them apart in her 1st season but 2nd season didnt go to plan.thought she was bit young so maybe good diet will help things out a bit.thanks for reply.

got a border russell dog who was nailing rats at 5 months and marking up at 9 months.hes a mint little grafter.got a pure border bitch who came on abit slower but i think peds usualy take abit more time to get going.mint little dogs an love a ratting spree,haha.

my bitch is in pup and i am after abit of advice see what is the best protien i should be giving along with her normal dry mix.any advice please.she is between 5 & 6 weeks on.its my first litter so i aint too clued up.

ah,i will ava gud butchers at this when i get in from graft,using the dog n bone at min and me glimmers aint 2 great,lol.x38 where r u based? im in bridlington-near scarb/hull.all 3 of my dogs have bin over 150mile trip each so dont mind a good mooch.pm me if u would pls with where u r at,what u have left n how much your dogs are please.thanks guys-and gals.

think with the deerhound it cud b abit to big for what i need.how tall is yours? x38 nice dog mate-what is its cross? how tall is it also?and do you breed them. thanks 4 input so far fellas.

also has any 1 owned a dog like the 1st 1 i mentioned and what would temperment be-ie would b ok with kids,other dogs and livestock.have a good number of permisions and wouldnt want to lose because the dog liked the look of lambs ect.thanks.

hello all. after abit of advice please,had terriers for years but aint had a lot to do with running dogs.bin thinking of getting me a fast dog in the near future.bin thinking along the lines of 1/4bull,bit of mass.1/4beddy-bit of coat.and maybe 1/2 grey or saluki-for size and length.aint to sure tho as i said,aint had lot to do with them.will be used for day coursing,bushing lamping and general mooching and to retrive for me.was also thinking maybe 50/50 beddy-grey??.advice needed i think,lol.thanks

full whippet waste of time ived seen the so called best take no abuse espically if its raining get yourself bed dlington cross you no nothing about whippets then well said chunk, I have in the past put pics up of whippets retrieving all manner of things, much the same as your pair, but they still get knocked especially as mine dont have any SS blood in them. let me say what I think, if you breed 2 kc whippets together you know exactly what you are getting...kc whippets, virtually every whippet can become a good rabbit catcher etc if you breed 2 lurchers together you are not sure wha

hi all.know this is kind of in the wrong section but know lota terrier men like a fast 1 too.thinking of gettin me some speed-sick of seein white tails or big ears dissapear over the horizon.bin told maybe wheaten whippet or beddy whippet aint too sure tho.will be used for bushing with the terrierists and if its game a days ratting and just raking about really.dont want owt 2 big or 2 flimsy,like the thought of terrier blood in it.any advice welcome,thanks again chaps-joel.
