    nice one mate have only got in to pike fishing my self past two sesons , i struggled at first but now the gates have opend !! stick with it am sur thre will be more to come !!! i done a 24 hour on fri night weather was rough , had nothing till 5 in the morning and caught 7 in the end all to deads , roach , smelt , TROUT !! which produced the quickest takes ! lots of sunken weed so we popped them up slightly and worked well , tight lines pal .......

    jus seen its on itv , (clashes with east enders she can ) 700lb giant freswater stingray , breaks his rod , and tears his bicep , never realy watched it much but am quite keen to have a look at that !!!! :clapping:

    Liquidize two tins of meat, one at a time into as smaller pieces as possible (use a cheese grater if "she who must be obeyed" wont let you near the blender in the kitchen), and then place the meat bits into a large mixing bowl. Boil the kettle, and place a large heaped teaspoon full of either Marmite or Bovril into a mug and fill the mug with the boiling water. Dissolve the Bovril/Marmite into the water and pour this over the meat. Mix it into a sloppy mush then add brown crumb to the mix, until a nice firm paste is formed. It can take several handfuls of crumb for the paste to firm up.

    just got back didnt have a sniff on the deads:wallbash: , but had a pike of about 6lb follow my savage gear lure in several times , which endedin a fierce take right under the rod tip was all over and on te bank pretty soon , but after a cold start -1 , was a good day , cheers

    Still some people in shorts round here !!! Am looking forward to a drop in temprature have always been led to belive that the cold snap produces ???
